Before you start

Everything you need to know before starting a project.

Before we begin, I'd like to share some information about how I usually work. Most of the questions I receive are answered below.

If you still have a question, feel free to send it while requesting a quote.

The Process

01

How does the process work?

After receiving your request, I review the information sent and get back to you with a quote.

Once approved, you send the session files and the project enters the production queue. Throughout the process, you can request revisions until the result matches what we're going for with the track.

02

How do I know if I need mixing or just mastering?

If you already have a finished, balanced mix but feel it's missing impact, loudness, and consistency across playback systems, you likely just need mastering.

If the track isn't balanced yet, with levels, panning, effects, and dynamics not defined, a full mix is the way to go.

03

Does my project need to be fully finished?

The closer the production is to its final version, the better the mixing result will be.

Structural changes during the process can affect the timeline and require a new version of the project.

Preparation

01

What do I need to send?

To start the project, send:

  • Separate stems
  • Track BPM
  • Key (when applicable)
  • Sonic reference (optional)
  • Important notes
02

How should I export the files?

Ideally, each instrument should be exported separately, all starting from the exact same point in the track.

This keeps the whole project in sync during mixing.

03

Do you work with any DAW?

Yes. It doesn't matter which DAW was used for production.

What really matters is that the files are exported correctly and organized. That way I can focus entirely on the music, not on session prep issues.

04

Do you do editing or pitch correction?

Yes, when needed. Small corrections are usually part of the process.

More extensive adjustments can be arranged as a separate scope.

During the Project

01

How do revisions work?

I don't set a fixed number of revisions. My goal is to deliver a result that reflects your vision for the track.

Revisions are part of that process.

02

Can I send references?

Yes. In fact, I encourage it.

One or two reference tracks really help me understand the sonic direction you're going for.

03

Do you offer rush service?

Depending on availability, yes.

If you have a specific deadline, mention it when requesting your quote so I can check availability.

Pricing

01

How does pricing work?

Each project is assessed individually.

The quote takes into account factors like number of tracks, production complexity, and desired timeline.

02

When does the project start and how does payment work?

The project starts once the quote is approved and payment is confirmed.

Available payment methods are shared along with the quote.

Delivery

01

What will I receive at the end?

Final files are delivered in high-quality formats, ready for digital distribution.

If you need a specific format, just let me know during the project.

02

Will my project be shared publicly?

Never without authorization.

Any sharing only happens with the artist's consent.

Still have a question?

No problem.

Every track is different. Every production has its own specific needs.

If something wasn't covered here, just start a request.

I'll be happy to review your project and answer it along with the quote.

Now you know how I usually work.

If you believe I can contribute to your project, I'd love to hear your music.
